Thousands of demonstrators have turned out in Bangkok to protest the government and monarchy in Thailand despite a ban on large public gatherings, reports the Guardian (U.K.).
The demonstrations began on Wednesday and continued into Thursday in Bangkok. The protestors, including a large number of high school students, are calling for the resignation of Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-o-cha and reforms to the monarchy.
