The Thai and Indonesian air forces have begun a bilateral exercise in Indonesia's Riau province, reports Antara News, Indonesia's national news agency.
The Elang Thainesia XIV exercise is aimed at improving pilot skills and maintaining good relations between the two air forces, said Indonesian officials.
Participating are five Hawk 100/200 fighters from Indonesia and six Thai Alpha Jets.
