THAAD Battery Stands Up At Fort Bliss

The U.S. Army late last week activated its second Terminal High-Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system battery at Fort Bliss, Texas, reports the U.S. Missile Defense Agency.
The A Battery, 2nd Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 11th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, 32nd Army Air and Missile Defense Command, joins the A Battery, 4th Regiment, as the only active THAAD units in the Army.
