A key U.S. Navy admiral says the service will not be able to evaluate a developmental model of its anti-submarine warfare mission package for littoral combat ships this year because of congressional restrictions in the fiscal 2016 defense bill, reports USNI News.
An advanced developmental model of the mission package was taken to sea in 2014 and generated "phenomenal" results, Rear Adm. Brian Antonio, the program manager for littoral combat ships, told USNI News last year. ...
