Test Looms For ICBM With 3,100-Mile Range

India is set to test-fire an intercontinental ballistic missile capable of hitting the Chinese cities of Shanghai and Beijing, reports the Hindustan Times.
The launch of the Agni V missile was scheduled for Wednesday, said military officials.
The three-stage solid fuel missile will be launched from Wheeler Island off the coast of Odisha at a target in the southern Indian Ocean, said officials.
The strategic missile has a declared range of 5,000 km (3,100 mi).
