Australian diplomats have arrived in the West African country of Burkina Faso to try to secure the release of an Australian couple who have been kidnapped by Islamists, reports 9 News (Australia).
Ken and Jocelyn Elliott, who are in their 80s, were kidnapped on Friday from the town of Baraboule in Burkina Faso's Soum province, said a Burkinabe intelligence source, as cited by the Guardian (U.K.).
