Days of violence in the southern Kyrgyzstan cities of Osh and Jalalabad has left at least 117 dead and over 1,400 wounded, the Voice of America News reports.
Tens of thousands of Uzbeks have fled the region as rioting between ethnic Kyrgyz and Uzbeks has overwhelmed security forces, Red Cross officials said.
Uzbeks are a sizeable minority in southern Kyrgyzstan.
