Tehran Shows Off New Satellite Capabilities

Iran says it launched a new satellite rocket on Wednesday among other advances in its space program, the Wall Street Journal reports.
Tehran is preparing to celebrate the 31st anniversary of its 1979 revolution.
State media reported that President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had unveiled three new telecommunications satellites and a new satellite-carrier engine.
Iranian officials said that the space rocket carried living organisms -- a rat, two turtles and worms.
