Iranian authorities executed two people Thursday for fomenting unrest following the disputed June presidential elections, Reuters reports.
The two who were hanged were among a group of 11 sentenced to death on charges including waging war against God, trying to overthrow the Islamic establishment and being members of armed groups.
The death sentences for the other nine are being appealed, according to Iranian state media.
