Tehran To Continue To Develop Military, Missile Capabilities, Says Rouhani

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani says his country will not ask for permission to develop weapons systems in the face of growing international opposition, reports the Mehr News Agency (Tehran). 

Iran will continue building anti-aircraft, air defense, ground-to-sea, sea-to-sea and ground-to-ground missiles, Rouhani told crowds gathered in Tehran to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, which toppled the U.S.-backed Shah.
