Technical and supplier issues have forced the Air Force to delay the planned full-rate production decision for its new trainer jet, reports Air Force magazine.
The full-rate production decision for the T-7A Red Hawk program has slipped from 2022 to 2023.
Accordingly, the Air Force reduced its fiscal 2022 budget request for the program from a projected $206.4 million to $188.9 million.
