Targets Hit In Gaza After Rocket Lands Close To Ashdod

The Israeli air force says it has struck multiple targets in the Gaza Strip in response to a rocket attack from the Palestinian enclave, reports the Jerusalem Post.

On Wednesday, the aircraft hit militant infrastructure in the southern Gaza Strip, said an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman.

Local residents said the targets included training camps used by the Islamic Jihad group, reported Reuters.
