Maj. Gen. Jeffrey Talley will receive a third star and assume command of the Army Reserve Command during a Saturday ceremony at Fort Bragg, N.C., reports the Army Times.
Talley previously served as head of the 84th Training Command at Fort Knox, Ky.
The general will succeed Lt. Gen. Jack Stultz, who is retiring in July. Stultz has held the post for the last six years.
