Talks With Tokyo Center On Potential Buy Of C-2 Cargo Planes

Japan is in talks with the United Arab Emirates for the potential sale of its domestically developed C-2 military transport aircraft, reports the Nikkei Asian Review.

The government in Tokyo has already started providing specifications and other data about the aircraft to the U.A.E. in support of the sale, say officials.

However, the two countries will have to conclude a treaty covering the transfer of defense equipment and technology before a sale can be finalized.
