The governments of northern and southern Sudan have agreed to discuss possible cease-fires in Blue Nile and Southern Kordofan, the Sudan Tribune reports.
Both states are in northern territory, bordering southern Sudan.
Representatives signed a framework agreement in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on Tuesday that sets the groundwork for political and security arrangements, said officials.
