Talks Focus On Joining E.U. Battle Groups

Ukrainian officials are negotiating with several European Union member states in an attempt to take part in E.U. battle groups, reports Interfax-AVN (Russia).
The Ukrainian Defense Ministry selected 10 units this year to be available for possible service with E.U. battle groups.
The current talks are focused on how and which Ukrainian formations may participate.
Ukrainian troops could join the battle groups as early as 2011.
