Taliban Using Withdrawal Deadline To Lift Morale, Says Top Marine

The commandant of the U.S. Marine Corps says that Taliban leaders are falsely telling their men they just need to fight until a U.S. drawdown begins in July 2011, the Washington Post reports.

Some Americans will begin withdrawing at that time, but the Obama administration has not yet determined the size of the drawdown, Gen. James Conway told reporters at the Pentagon.
