Armed Taliban insurgents have swarmed an abandoned U.S. military base in the Korengal Valley just days after American troops withdrew, the Daily Mail (U.K.) reports.
A video aired on Al Jazeera television showed militants grabbing abandoned fuel and ammunition, as well as exploring the base.
A Taliban commander in the video said the militants will use the base for attacks on U.S. forces.
