Taliban Seizes 2 Border Crossings In Herat Province

Taliban fighters have taken control of two key border towns in western Afghanistan, reports the Tolo News (Kabul).
On Friday, militants gained control of the towns of Islam Qala, on the border with Iran, and Torghundi, on the border with Turkmenistan, said local officials.
Both are in Herat province.
