The Taliban is observing a de-facto cease-fire for the three-day Eid Al Adha holiday, reports the Voice of America News.
A spokesman said that the militant group was observing an unannounced truce to permit Afghans to celebrate the holiday peacefully.
The Taliban has regularly called Eid truces since mid-2018 but made no announcement about a halt in operations this year.
