A U.S. court in the District of Columbia has sentenced an Afghan heroin-trafficker to life in prison, reports RTT News.
Haji Bagcho was convicted of conspiring to distribute heroin in the United States and for using drug proceeds to fund, arm and supply the Taliban, the Justice Dept. said.
He was one of the largest heroin dealers in the world, noted the Daily Telegraph (U.K.).
