Pakistani security forces say they arrested a top Taliban leader in the city of Karachi on Sunday, Pakistan's Dawn reports.
Akhtar Zaman, an insurgent commander in the city, and three other militants were captured in a raid in the neighborhood of Sohrab Goth, said police.
The Taliban fighters were said to be planning a major attack. A large weapon cache, including an anti-aircraft rocket launcher and explosives, was seized during the raid, according to police.
