Senior U.S. intelligence officials say that Pakistani Taliban leader Hakimullah Mehsud was killed by a drone strike last month, Pakistan's Dawn reports.
There has been no official U.S. announcement, nor has Pakistan confirmed the insurgent leader's death.
The Taliban has repeatedly denied Mehsud's death, saying he went into hiding.
A senior U.S. intelligence leader said the reported death represents the collective intelligence of several agencies, reported Fox News.
