Taliban fighters have launched coordinated attacks on the provincial police headquarters and a police training center in Gardez in Afghanistan's southeastern Paktia province, say officials, as reported by Pajhwok Afghan News.
The attacks were followed by car bombings, officials said.
Casualty counts varied. Reuters said at least 33 people were killed and 160 were wounded.
