A top Afghan general has charged that Iran has been providing weapons and other military equipment to Taliban militants in Afghanistan, reports the Arab News.
Afghan President Ashraf Ghani raised the issue with his Iranian counterpart, Hassan Rouhani, during a recent visit to Tehran, Lt. Gen. Mohammed Sharif Yaftali, the chief of General Staff for the Afghan army told the BBC Persian Service.
