Taliban Commander Turns Himself In For $100 Reward On His Wanted Poster

A mid-level Taliban commander in eastern Afghanistan has surrendered to claim the US$100 reward listed on a wanted poster, reports the Washington Post.
Mohammad Ashan reportedly approached a police checkpoint last week in Paktika province's Sar Howza district carrying a wanted poster with his image.
Ashan, who is suspected of plotting at least two attacks against Afghan forces, said he wanted the reward, said officials.
He was arrested on the spot and turned over to U.S....
