Taliban Commander Killed From Passing Car

Unknown gunmen have shot and killed a Pakistani Taliban commander in Pakistan's North Waziristan area, reports the Nation (Pakistan).

Shakirullah Shakir, also known as Kaka, was killed in the Qutab Khail area of Miranshah on Monday, said intelligence officials.

The Wall Street Journal reported that he was attacked while riding on a motorcycle. The motive for the killing is unclear.
