Taliban Commander Killed In Firefight, Say Police

Pakistani police say they have killed an insurgent commander in Peshawar, reports the Dawn (Pakistan).
The militant, known as Umar, was killed on Tuesday during a firefight in the Badbher area, said police.
Umar was a close aide of Tariq Afridi, a commander of a splinter group of the Pakistani Taliban, said officials.
Five other suspects were reportedly arrested.
