A suicide bombing in eastern Afghanistan has killed at least six people near a police compound, reports the BBC.
A truck rigged with explosives was detonated on Thursday outside a the compound in Puli Alam, the capital of Logar province.
Three soldiers and three civilians were killed, said the provincial governor. Two dozen people were injured, including 11 doctors at a nearby hospital, according to medical sources.
