There has been a mass prison break in northern Afghanistan.
At least 14 prisoners escaped from a jail in the Afghan province of Sar-e Pol during a Taliban attack, reports BBC News.
Three inmates were killed and 28 injured in fighting between guards and Taliban militants late Thursday night, officials said.
