Four German troops were killed by the Taliban on Thursday in northern Afghanistan's Baghlan province, the Los Angeles Times reports.
The soldiers were killed in fighting that broke out after a German armored vehicle was attacked, German defense officials said. Five other troops were reportedly wounded.
