Some U.S. Air Force's T-38 Talon jet trainers have a new role: aggressors for F-22 Raptor pilot training, the Air Force Times reports.
The T-38 will serve as aggressors at three locations -- Holloman Air Force Base, N.M.; Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla., and Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va.
Each base will receive a detachment of seven Talons by summer, said Air Force officials.
