A top Turkish official says that Syria shot at a second plane last week, reports Radio New Zealand.
On Monday, Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc charged that Syria fired at a Turkish military transport plane that was searching for an F-4 reconnaissance jet shot downed on Friday.
The second incident took place on Friday in international airspace, said Arinc, as reported by Reuters.
Arinc did not say if the search plane was hit, reported the Wall Street Journal.
