Swedes, Finns May Provide Icelandic Air Defense

Swedish fighters might soon be flying in defense of Iceland, reports Radio Sweden. Finnish planes could be joining them.
Last week, the Social Democratic Party supported the government's proposal for a joint Swedish-Finnish operation over Iceland. The Social Democrats are the oldest and largest party in the country
The Finnish government has said it would only participate in such an operation if Sweden did so as well.
The U.S. is closing down the Air Force base in Iceland....
