Sweden has offered a cut-rate price to Romania for 24 new Gripen C/D combat jets. The price tag is the same as that being sought for 24 second-hand U.S. F-16s, Agence France-Presse reports.
The Swedish offer, unlike the U.S. one, does not include ammunition. The Swedish offer does include training, support, logistics and 100 percent offsets, said Romanian officials.
