Sweden Agrees To Lower Cost Of Loan For Brazil's Gripen Fighter Purchase

The Brazilian and Swedish governments have finalized a financing agreement covering Brazil's purchase of Gripen NG fighters, reports defense-aerospace.com.
The agreement on interest rates was reached on Wednesday, allowing the contract to go to the Brazilian Senate for final approval, according to a release from the Brazilian Ministry of Defense.
Sweden agreed to reduce the financing costs for the US$5.4 billion sale, reported Reuters.
