Officials in Kenya say they suspect the Somali insurgent group Al-Shabaab for a pair of explosions in the Kenyan port city of Mombasa, reports Capital FM (Nairobi).
Grenades were thrown Saturday at a restaurant near the Mombasa stadium and a church gathering in the nearby town of Mtwapa, Red Cross officials said.
At least one person was killed and 18 others injured, most of them at the church. The attacks occurred within minutes of each other, said officials.
