Suspected 'Bomb' Bound For Germany Was Security Test Device

The suspected bomb discovered at a Namibian airport this week bound for Germany was only a security test device, say authorities cited by Bloomberg News.
The device, which contained batteries wired to a functioning clock and detonator, had no explosive material, according to investigators from Germany's Federal Criminal Office (BKA).
The suspect bag was found by Namibian police during routine security checks during loading of a flight to Munich.
