Surrender Deadline Passes; Coup Leader Says He Remains In Charge

The chiefs of Burkina Faso's army have given the leader of the recent coup an ultimatum to either surrender or face attack, reports the BBC.
The army chiefs demanded that Gen. Gilbert Diendere and the others behind the coup surrender by 10 a.m. GMT Tuesday.
On Monday, talks were held between the army and the presidential guard responsible for the coup.
