Spanish shipbuilder Navantia has officially delivered a new supply ship to the Spanish navy, report defense-aerospace.com.
The Cantabria was handed over on July 29 during a ceremony at Naval Base Rota, the shipbuilding company said.
The supply vessel is expected to significantly increase the navy's operational logistic support capabilities. The ship has five refueling stations and can refuel both ships and aircraft, including three vessels simultaneously.
