Maj. Gen. Carlos Rafael Altuna, the chief of staff of the Dominican air force, has denied reports that alleged that the new Super Tucano aircraft have not been used since their delivery in December, reports the Dominican Today.
The Dominican Republic received the first two of eight aircraft in December and have completed 249 flying hours since then, 39 of which have been in pursuit of suspected drug-traffickers, Altuna said.
