Sultan Approves Constitutional Changes To Establish Crown Prince Role

A new decree from the leader of Oman has cleared the way for the country to formally establish a crown prince as part of the order of succession, reports the Gulf Business (Dubai).
On Monday, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq issued Royal Decree No. 6/2021, which established a new basic law to “set up a specific and stable mechanism for the transfer of power,” reported the state-run Oman News Agency.
