Sukhoi Fighters, Ka-52 Helicopters On Order

The Russian air force has ordered more than 100 Sukhoi fighter aircraft as well as Ka-52 helicopter gunships for delivery over the next several years, RIA Novosti reports.

Three state contracts with Sukhoi have already been signed, said a Defense Ministry spokesman.

Moscow will procure 50 Su-35 Flanker-E multirole fighters, at least 10 Su-27SM Flanker multirole jets and five Su-30M2 Flanker-C multirole fighters by 2015, said the spokesman.
