A suicide bomber has attacked the office of the governor of Afghanistan's eastern Kapisa province, reports the Globe and Mail (Toronto).
The blast on Wednesday killed eight people, including four police officers, officials said.
The attacker exploded his minibus in the governor's compound, reported CNN.
Separately, at about the same time insurgents attacked a new police training center in Afghanistan's central Wardak province.
