A Taliban suicide bomber carried out an attack in the Kunduz region of northern Afghanistan Monday, killing seven, Bloomberg News reports.
The victims were five children and two German soldiers, said a German Defense Ministry spokesman.
Two German soldiers and another child were wounded in the attack, the spokesman said.
Few other details were released on the attack.
Kunduz is located near the Tajik border.
