A bomb attack near Bagram Air Base in northern Afghanistan has wounded five U.S. troops, reports Fox News, citing U.S. officials.
A suicide bomber drove a car bomb into a convoy during a routine patrol on Monday outside the base, said a U.S. defense official.
The attack took place near the village of Qal'eh-ye Musa Bala in Parwan province, said a statement from NATO's Operations Resolute Support.
A Georgian soldier and four Afghan civilians were also wounded.
