Sudanese Warplanes Continue Bombardment Along Border, Says Southern Military

The Sudanese air force carried out four airstrikes over the weekend on South Sudanese military positions, reports the Daily Star (Lebanon), citing sources from South Sudan.

On Sunday, four bombs were dropped near a southern army base in Panakuach, Unity state, a southern army spokesman said.

Four people were injured, reported the Sudan Tribune.

Fighting was also reported in Wedakona, Upper Nile state, between southern forces and militias allied with Khartoum, the spokesman...
