A Royal Navy submariner has been accused of passing encryption codes to an unidentified enemy state, reports the Daily Telegraph (U.K.).
Petty Officer Edward Devenney, 29, has been charged with giving the code-breaking data to an unnamed individual in January this year. He was reportedly arrested in March.
He has been charged with two offenses under the Official Secrets Act.
