Submarine Partnership With Germany Expands

Italy is expanding its cooperation with Germany in the production of submarines, reports Defense News.
Fincantieri will reportedly build four U-212A Near Future Submarines (NSFs) for the Italian navy.
The new submarines will bring Italy’s total U-212 fleet to eight and allow the navy to retire its older Sauro-class submarines.
