The Pacific Submarine Force has successfully demonstrated the ability to lay mines, say U.S. Navy officials cited by United Press International.
The Mk 67 submarine-launched mobile mines were laid by the USS Buffalo (SSN-715) in an exercise off the coast of Kauai, Hawaii.
